Payment of Fees
Accepting your Letter of Offer
When we receive your application form we will send you an Offer and Acceptance Letter. You must sign and return this form along with payment or FEE-HELP form.
Please note to be entitled to FEE-HELP, students must be one of the following:
- an Australian citizen
- the holder of a permanent humanitarian visa who will be a resident in Australia for the duration of the unit
- New Zealand citizens who are Special Category Visa (SCV) holders and meet the requisite criteria.

Otherwise you can pay by the following methods:
We accept Visa and MasterCard credit cards and also EFTPOS debit cards from our office in Melbourne. Credit Card payments will incur a 1.5% surcharge.
Payments should be made in Australian dollars to La Trobe Melbourne.

For students also enrolling in a La Trobe University degree course (‘package offer’) please include the La Trobe University offer of Acceptance along with the application to La Trobe Melbourne.

Once an applicant accepts a place offered by La Trobe Melbourne and pays fees, or submits a Request for FEE-HELP, a binding contract is created between the student and La Trobe Melbourne.
A student may cancel their enrolment in a course at any time. Depending on the timing of that request, a student may apply for a refund as outlined in the Refund Policy.
