Enrolment and Orientation
Enrolment and Orientation
Enrolment and orientation marks the start of your journey at La Trobe Melbourne. It’s where you register as a student, enrol in the subjects in your chosen program, and meet the people who will become a big part of your life at university.
At enrolment, you will be able to:
- meet your academic coordinator
- make your class timetable
- learn about your subjects
- have your photo taken for your student ID card
You will also get to attend orientation, where you will meet fellow students and all our staff, including the College Director. We will tell you all about accommodation, healthcare, student services, campus facilities, and clubs and societies. There will also be food and live music!
Enrolment and orientation are both held at various locations on La Trobe University’s Melbourne campus in Bundoora. If you want to use public transport to get to campus, refer to this handy guide (PDF, 772KB) by Public Transport Victoria.
Enrolment dates are different for domestic and international students, and for every program. Please refer to the table below to find the right enrolment session for your program.
Any domestic students enrolling in Trimester 1, 2018, will be contacted via email.
If you want more training on our student portal, learning management system and student email account, you can register for an introduction session. They will be held in the morning of 28 February and 2 March, before your orientation starts. Find out more.
