Orientation is the beginning of your journey at La Trobe Melbourne. It is a new study environment, for most students a new country and a new way of life. It all starts at orientation so don't miss it.

La Trobe Melbourne hosts a series of activities and programs and efficient transition to tertiary study.

What will happen at Orientation?

You will receive information about your La Trobe Melbourne course and some orientation materials. Meet the La Trobe Melbourne staff, students and new friends. Be introduced to a range of services and facilities available to you as a student.

There will also be information sessions concerning accommodation, employment, safety, health coverage and computer access all designed to help you settle into your new environment.

Most importantly Orientation ensures that you are enrolled and you may get your photo taken to obtain your La Trobe Melbourne Student ID Card.

What do I need to bring?

Bring along your La Trobe Melbourne Offer Letter, passport (international students only) and address details.
